Bars in Baltimore Showing the XXII Olympic Winter Games

Just as cabin fever is reaching epidemic levels here in the Charm City, and Old Man Winter is threatening even more punishing cold and wet weather, the XXII Olympic Winter Games are here to save us from our frigid boredom. They kick off on Fri., Feb. 7 and run through Sun., Feb. 23. And if all the snowboarding, ski jumping, bobsledding and luging doesn’t provide enough of a distraction to shake you from your seasonal affective disorder, perhaps heading out to one of the bars listed below and enjoying a few winter game-themed specials will.

Alexander's Tavern (710 S Broadway; 410-522-0000)
All day every day throughout the winter games, Alexander’s Tavern will have specials on fun, ring-shaped food and pour Heavy Seas Gold, Silver Bullet (Coors Light), and Bronze Monkey cocktails (vodka, spiced rum and orange juice) for $3.

Looney's Pub (2900 O'Donnell St.; 410-675-9235)
What more do you need to enjoy watching Winter Olympics than cheap draft beers, great pub grub and a bunch of giant TVs?

Luckie's Tavern (10A Market Pl.; 410-223-1105)
With 14 HD plasma screens and a ridiculously large, 13-foot digital projection screen, it’s safe to say Luckie’s has you covered for keeping up on all the action in Sochi.

All-Star Sports Bar (34 S. Eutaw St.; 410-837-7827)
Real cheap beer, a slew of big screen TVs, and a big-ass digital projection screen makes this Downtown spot a no-brainer for catching the games.

City Limits Sports Bar(1700 E. Fort Ave.; 410-244-8084)
Federal Hill’s go-to for catching the O’s, Raven’s and Terps has great happy hour deals, bottomless mimosas and build-your-own bloody Marys on Sundays, 16 HD TVs and a giant digital projection screen, which makes it a perfect place for viewing the Olympics too.
