Where to Watch the Ravens in the 2012 NFL Playoffs

Where to Watch the Ravens in the 2012 NFL Playoffs

The whole city is officially painted purple in preparation for the Ravens playoff games, the first of which goes down Sunday, January 15 at 1 PM. If you didn’t score a seat at M&T Bank Stadium, pull up a stool at one of these area bars, who are rolling out Poe-worthy specials for you to enjoy while you cheer on the team. Bonus: many of these deals are good during all the playoff games, so pull up a stool to watch who the Ravens will beat next.

Alexander's Tavern: Get down with $2.50 Miller Lite,  $3.50 Blue Moons and $5 Purple Bombs at this quirkly, game-filled pub. Plus, score a free shooter with every Ravens TD!

All Star's: This sports pub on Eutaw is serving up $3 house shots, $9 Malibu buckets, $2 Natty Bohs, $6 wings,  $6 pizzas and free house shots every time the Ravens score.

Alonso's: Both the restaurant and the Alonsoville upstairs bar will offer $4 Eristoff Purple Bombs, $2 Natty Bohs and half-price nachos during all playoff games.

Brewer's Cask: $3.50 select drafts and $7.99 wings at the Fells Point spot.

Dead End Saloon: Though this Fells Point bar is closed on Sundays, they're celebrating in a big way. On Purple Friday, specialty cocktails Defense and The Raven are $5 each, and Purple Shooters go for $2.50, along with a Ravens Wrap (crab cake in a purple tortilla) or a Defense Burger (with extra bacon) for $9.95 each. On Saturday, look for the same specials, plus get free purple and gold beads and if you wear a Ravens jersey, your first Natty Boh is only 32 cents (in honor of #5 and #27).

Little Havana's: Federal Hill's casual Cuban will be serving brunch during the game, which features bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys with a brunch entree for just $16.99. (Tip: make reservations if you want to guarantee your space; it's filling up fast.)

MaGerks: In a bold move, this Federal Hill pub is offering $7 buckets of ponies and $4 Firefly drinks on "both Sundays" of the Ravens playoff run.

Mother's Grille: Take advantage of the profusion of multiple bars and a slew HD TVs at this Federal Hill destination, where the "purple patio" will feature eats from the outside grill.

The Owl Bar: Follow along on Sunday in Mount Vernon, where from 1 PM on you can enjoy $3 rail drinks, $3 select drafts and $3 house wines.

Pickles Pub: Celebrate all day long on gameday Sunday with select two-for-one drafts  and pitchers, $4 rail drinks, $3.50 select bottles, $6 16-inch pizzas, $5 dozen wings and $4 nachos. The specials will also run during Saturday's game.

The Point in Fells: More creative with their drinks specials than their name, the team at this lounge are offering $10 buckets of domestic beers, $4 Ravens Haze cocktails and $5 Rave-N-Ade cocktails during the game.

Slainte Irish Pub: This refreshingly pleasant Fells Point tavern is offering $3 Heinekens, Heineken Lights, Newcastle Brown Ales and Amstel Lights, along with $7 selected apps during all NFL games.

Todd Conner's: A friendly neighborhood hang that offers $2 Natty Bohs, $3 Yuenglings, and $5 for a pound of chicken wings during all NFL games including the playoffs.
