Mother's Grille Hosts First Annual Charm City Bacon & Bourbon Wars

The city of Baltimore has a love affair with bacon that we're in no way ashamed of — in fact, the city is openly celebrating its adoration for the salty snack at the first annual Charm City Bacon & Bourbon Wars, hosted by Mother’s Federal Hill Grille on Sunday, February 10.

Mother’s has challenged Baltimore’s best restaurants to come up with a creative and delicious bacon dish along with a signature Bulleit bourbon cocktail, all of which will be available for tasting  at the Sunday afternoon fiesta. The winner of this grand pork and booze war will be determined by popular vote. Tickets can be purchased here for $15 in advance (prices will go up on the day of the event so snag yours now). A portion of the proceeds will go to the Ulman Cancer Foundation.

So far, participating restaurants include Ropewalk Tavern, Red Red Wine Bar (Annapolis), Bluegrass Tavern, Vino Rosina, Heavy Seas Alehouse, Willow, Hard Rock Cafe, Pure Wine Bar, C&R Pub, John Stevens Limited and Mother's Federal Hill Grille. Who brings home the bacon? We're about to find out.
