Just in time for Baltimore Beer Week comes Das Best Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 10 at M&T Bank Stadium. Rain or shine, this party is happening.
Enjoy international, domestic, and local beers, wines and schnapps as well as games, contests, and live music. Enjoy traditional German music throughout the festival and The Kelly Bell Band, Super Bueno, and Tokyo on the main stage. Oktoberfest contests include Masskrugstemmen or stein holding, Fingerhakeln or finger wrestling, Miss Oktoberfest, and best pretzel necklace.
As a special treat, since this weekend kicks off Baltimore Beer Week, there will be a tapping of a special cask ale during the VIP event at 12 PM. There is also a Home Brew Competition that is taking applications until September 11. Visit the festival website for an application or more information.
Das Best Oktoberfest will be held at M&T Bank Stadium Lot H from 2 to 6 PM. VIP ticket holders will be able to enter at noon for the special tasting. Tickets are $39 for General Admission and $59 for VIP. Designated Driver tickets are $25 for General Admission and $39 for VIP. Drinking tickets include souvenir tasting glass and can be purchased online.
