Geek Out at the Denver Comic Con Beer Release Party
Once again, Breckenridge Brewery has created a beer that will only be available for Denver Comic Con, June 17-19. Geek out by getting a first taste of Snape-ricot at Stoney’s Bar and Grill.
Back in March, Breckenridge Brewery began brewing this new beer. The special brew is an American Pale Lager with fresh apricot puree. The brewery says on its blog that the beer is “a delightfully crisp beer with a fullness that hints of grains and earth and just enough bittering hops to leave a pleasant dry finish that invites the next sip.”
During March, the brewery held a beer naming contest on Facebook. By popular vote, the moniker selected was Snape-ricot, as a tribute tribute to the late Alan Rickman’s character in Harry Potter. The winner was chosen from over 500 entries.
Join Breckenridge Brewery at Stoney’s Bar and Grill for a beer release party on Friday, May 20, at 7:30 PM. Entry is free, and the first 100 people to order the beer will receive a commemorative limited edition pint glass featuring artwork by Frankie Serna. The party will also feature live music by the Gin Doctors, a 90s cover band, and Red 5.
After May 20, the beer will be available at select locations around town and at the Denver Comic Con. Follow Breckenridge Brewery on Facebook to find where the beer will be next.
