Where to Watch: Election Night Parties and Drink Specials in Philadelphia

On Election Day (Tuesday, November 6), Americans across the country participate in the important action of casting votes for candidates from President to local elected offices. On Election Night, Americans across the country participate in the national pastime of watching talking heads trying to keep you interested as results dribble in. What better way to pass the time than with a couple of drinks? Make sure you vote (find out where), and then afterwards head to one of these bars where you can keep abreast of the latest poll news with a brew, wine or cocktail in hand.

Bierstube: The Old City beer bar will be showing the election results with sound on.

The Blockley:
The West Philly music club and bar is combining Election Night with a Sandy Benefit party and offering a free drink to anyone bringing 10 cans of food (canned meat or fish, soup, juice, pasta, veggies, cereal, rice). From 8–10 PM look for all you can eat wings and fries, and all night long enjoy $2 Coors Light, $3 well drinks and $4 select craft beers. There will also be voting games to pass the time — for example: “Vote on which craft beer should be $4 this hour!”

Byblos: The Rittenhouse hookah bar and upstairs Vango Lounge will offer $4 beer, $5 cocktails, $5 wine and half-priced appetizers throughout Election Night.
