Downtown Baltimore's Winter Wine Celebration, February 22-March 3

The weather may be warming slightly, but we’ve still got another month of winter to go. Luckily, the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore will make this an easy week to get through with a tone of vino-centric events and specials in the Winter Wine Celebration.

More than 20 bars and restaurants are participating, with deals and happenings both large and small. For example, on Wednesday you can attend a “build-your-own-Bordeaux” wine dinner at B&O Brasserie, and on Saturday you can take a Sake 101 class at Pabu to learn all about Japanese rice wine.

Each weekday, Wit & Wisdom is throwing a Wine Week happy hour with $5 glasses of red and white wines from 4–7 PM, and also hosting a Saturday class on how to navigate a wine list. Explore varietals from the Middle East with special pairings at Lebanese Taverna, or enjoy a three-course Mediterranean wine pairing menu at Pazo.
