In between cookouts and parades, check out some of the great local events and specials around Charm City happening over the long weekend.

BoatHouse Canton
May 22, 23, 24
Featuring live music Friday, 6–9 PM, as well as Saturday and Sunday from 4–7 PM, the waterfront bar and restaurant is ready to host the 3-day weekend partiers. The outdoor patio and pavilion bar will be opening at 4 PM on Friday, 12 PM on Saturday and Sunday, and brunch will be served from 10 AM–3 PM on both days. (2809 Boston St.; 410-773-9795)

Boordy Vineyards Good Life Feast-ival
May 23 & 24, 12–5 PM
Head out to the country and help Boordy kick off its farmers market season with blues tunes, hayrides, plenty of food from dozens of local vendors and, of course, plenty of wine. Tickets are $10 each and include entrance, a wine glass and wine tasting. (12820 Long Green Pike, Hydes; 410-592-5015)

Heavy Seas Beer
May 23 & 24
A long weekend is the perfect time to get in some extra brews. Take a tour on Saturday or Sunday at Heavy Seas in Linthicum. Brew At The Zoo
May 24, 1–7 PM
Check out the brand new penguin exhibit, sample tons of local brews and support the zoo at its biggest fundraiser of the year. Tickets for the first day, May 23, are sold out, but tickets remain available for May 24. (1876 Mansion House Dr.)

Orioles Memorial Day Game
May 25, 1:35 PM
Be one of the first 20,000 fans to arrive for the midday game against the Houston Astros and get yourself an Orioles barbecue apron. (333 W Camden St.)

RA Sushi
May 25–May 31
RA Sushi kicks off its largest annual fundraiser, “Nicky’s Week,” on Memorial Day, Monday May 25. The event, which lasts through Sunday, May 31, is intended to raise funds to support children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. During Nicky’s Week, RA Sushi will donate 100% of sales from a variety of menu items and beverages including edamame, tootsy maki, shrimp nigiri, pork gyoza, sesame garlic chicken, garlic citrus yellowtail and select beverages.
