Welcome Warmer Weather & Sip These Spring Cocktails in Baltimore

by Jennifer Waldera on Apr 17, 2019 in Roundups

With snow and winter winds behind us, it’s time to step into spring. Is there any better way to put a spring in your step than with some seasonal sips around Charm City?

Cosima
This popular spot has a number of Italian-inspired creative cocktails, including the Noemi
(Aperol, Fever Tree tonic, prosecco, lemon wedge), the Alba d'Oro (Quinquina, Citron Sauvage, Prosecco, rosemary, lemon zest), and the Airone di Notte (Chinato, vermouth rosso, triple sec, prosecco, black walnut bitters, orange peel).

Dylan’s Oyster Cellar
Whether with oysters or not, there’s no reason to not engage with this spot’s Holly Beach, made with aged rum, chamomile, coconut, grapefruit, and fino.

Hotel Revival
This newish Mt. Vernon hotel is known for its affinity for karaoke and shows it with its creatively named cocktail menu, which includes drinks like Don’t Stop Believing (Vida, lime, Dolin Genepy, Luxardo Maraschino, lime wheel), King of Wishful Thinking,
(Tequila, Suze, Carpano Bianco, pineapple, lime, honey, pineapple leaf), Bad Romance (Rye, Hamilton Black Rum, Cassis, Jägermeister, Peychauds and a lemon twist), Love Shack (Beefeater, Plymouth Sloe gin, Pedro Jimenez sherry, lemon juice, Peychauds bitters), Touch the Sky (Maison Rouge VSOP, Kahlua, Grand Marnier, demerara, orange bitters, orange twist), and Mr. Brightside (Toki, banana liquor, lime juice, Bruto Americano, topped with ginger beer and a lime wedge).

Gunther & Co.
This Brewer’s Hill mainstay shakes and stirs creative sips for every season, including the La Hermosa Mariposa (Roca Patron Blanco Tequila, guava juice, aloe juice, cointreau, lime juice, cucumber bitters, butterfly pea flower tea).

The Elephant
Mt. Vernon’s top spot for global cuisine also serves up some quality cocktails, including the Flying Elephant (Gin, Cointreau, Creme de Violette, lemon, bitters), the Summer Storm (Dark Rum, Lime, ginger beer, pineapple), and the Save the Elephant (Gin, white wine, simple sugar, dry vermouth).

Vida Taco Bar
Sweet and spicy, Vida is capturing the spirit of spring with their cocktail, the Pablo Taco Bar (Altos reposado tequila, strawberry, habañero, Vida’s signature margarita mix, half salted rim, garnish with mint sprig).
