The nightlife scene in Federal Hill may be dominated by mega bars and upscale wine establishments, but just a stone's throw from Cross Street Market lies one of the last bastions of divery in the area: Mum's. Dimly lit and dingy but still friendly and inviting, Mum's embraces its image and maintains a fun atmosphere with live music on weekends, a well-cared-for pool table and a group of regulars whose character can't be matched in too many other Federal Hill drinkeries.
