Meet Stone Brewing Co. Founder at Smith Commons

In the 15 years of its existence, Stone Brewing Company has built an impressive, nationwide following, steadily rising to become the country’s 14th largest craft brewery. From the introduction of intense ale Arrogant Bastard in 1997 – a purposeful slap in the face to bland, corporate brews – beer fans have been raving over the creations of coming from this San Diego-based operation.

On Monday, December 19, Stone-heads can meet brewery co-founder Greg Koch when he stops at H Street craft beer haven Smith Commons. While holding it down with the man responsible for the sought-after Vertical Epic series, sip on Arrogant Bastards, Stone Pale Ale and Ruination IPA. Bites and drink specials from the regular Smith Hour menu will also be available during this 6–7:30 PM event.
