Cocktail Spotlight: Linger's The Devil Inside

LoHi’s Linger not only has great views, its bartenders whip up some of the best drinks around. The cocktail bar just introduce a new addition to the menu which is making us very thirsty: The Devil Inside.

The name isn’t kidding, on multiple levels. Artichoke-based Cynar apertif is shaken with fresh lemon and Rittenhouse Rye for a punch-packing base, which then gets a float of The Velvet Devil wine, a merlot from Washington State.

Happy hour runs 4–6:30 PM Tuesday–Friday in the bar and roof lounge with a special $4–$6 snack menu, $1 all drafts (bar only) and $5 specialty cocktails and red and white wine. Head over and try the specials or ask for this new drink — it’s just $10 — but don’t forget your ID. The beverage menu says it loud and clear: “50 is the new 20. We ID everyone.”
