After we give thanks on our all-American Thanksgiving holiday, we do what Americans do best: shop! On Black Friday, retail stores all over the region will be offering sales to kick off the Christmas shopping season, and several bars are getting into the swing of things with specials and events. Check out where to catch a break as you scour the stores for gifts and deals.
Acacia Bistro & Wine Bar: Special $40 three-course menu with optional $15 drink pairing.
Bandolero: Special brunch from noon–4 PM with $8 drinks or $19 bottomless cocktails.
Bayou Bakery: Free black coffee with every order of beignets or buttermilk biscuit sanwiches from 8–10 AM.
Boqueria: Special $35 unlimited tapas and drinks brunch from 11:30 AM–2:30 PM.
51st State: After regular happy hour, $4 Fat Tires from 8 PM–close.
Firefly: Special brunch from 9 AM–2 PM with free coffee for Facebook fans and $2 mimosas and Bloody Marys for everyone.
Jackson 20: Extended brunch from 7 AM–2:30 PM with $12 bottomless mimosas.
Mayfair & Pine: Open for dinner with $3 CapRock gine and vodka cocktails all evening. Also serving chef Emily Sprissler’s Thanksgiving Sandwich all night.
