Where to Celebrate the Fourth of July in Baltimore

There is no shortage of events around Baltimore to enjoy July 4th, but here are a few of our picks for spots where you can do so with a drink in hand. Cheers to the USA!

Only a few blocks from the Inner Harbor, Bryan Voltaggio’s Italian-inspired Aggio is an ideal spot for happy hour or dinner before heading to fireworks. Afternoon happy hour at the bar runs until 7:30 PM and will include half-price pastas, $3 draft beer, $5 red, white, and sparkling wines, $5 cocktails, and select bar snacks. After happy hour, stick around (or come after happy hour) for the a la carte menu or to get a preview of Aggio’s $35 three course ($55 with wine) Restaurant Week menu. (614 Water St.; 410-528-0200)

Wit and Wisdom
From 6–9:30 PM, party-goers can enjoy unlimited food, free valet parking, and live entertainment on the newly redesigned outdoor patio at Wit and Wisdom which is one of the best vantage points for fireworks in the city. Tickets are $125 per adult (Standing Room Only, $95) and Children (12 and under) $45. To purchase a ticket, visit www.missiontix.com/saluteamerica. (200 International Dr.; 410-576-5800)

Hard Rock Cafe
With a perfect location for sipping cocktails and watching fireworks right on the water in the Inner Harbor, Hard Rock Cafe will be celebrating the Fourth of July with free live music from “Here’s To The Night.” (601 E Pratt St.; 410-347-7625)

Rusty Scupper
From 6:30–10 PM, Rusty Scupper is hosting its annual Independence Day Topside Crab Feast with live entertainment, an all-you-can-eat buffet of #1 jumbo male crabs, hot dogs, hamburgers, fried chicken, salads, and fruit.
