Tickets Still Available for Final Installment of Fork & Cork Dinner Series, Nov. 3

When it comes to fall, we tend to see the season as the perfect opportunity to start pouring the pumpkin beers and caramel vodka-laced apple cider, or even some creepy (yet tasty) Halloween shots. However, there are some classier folks in Baltimore reminding us of the seasonality of wine and its pairings, via the autumnal Fork and Cork series.

With two dinner events already under their belts, the teams of chefs and sommeliers from Wit and Wisdom, AGGIO, and Fleet Street Kitchen are bringing their series showcasing seasonal dishes with top-notch wine pairings to a close in its final installment on November 3 at Fleet Street Kitchen.

Local chefs Zack Mills, Bryan Voltaggio, and Chris Becker are teaming up with their restaurants’ respective sommeliers Julie Dalton, Chris Coker, and Tim Riley to feature each spot’s wine offerings with some rare seasonal favorites paired with three savory courses and a sweet finale. For a challenging twist, menus are not made available to sommeliers until 24 hours before the event begins.

Since the sommeliers aren’t privy to the menu for November 3, we (sadly) aren’t either. But we’ve checked out previous menus offering the likes of hamachi crudo, crispy sweetbreads, squid ink tonnarelli, and Gunpowder bison short rib, all paired with wine choices we definitely haven’t seen on any other local menu.

Tickets for the November 3 dinner are available here for $99 per person, plus tax, gratuity, and a ticket fee.
