Independence Day: July 4 Celebrations in Baltimore

From the Star-Spangled Sailabration to July 4 festivities, patriotism is not in short supply in Baltimore this year. Celebrate and show your USA pride at the many events popping off throughout the city. (And if you hear of more, leave a note in the comments.) Happy Independence Day!

July 1

Pazo Cellar Raid
5–10 PM, Sunday, July 1–Wednesday, July 4
Pazo (1425 Aliciana St.)
Enjoy 50% off all wine bottles in celebration any day from July 1–4 and perhaps even try some of their delicious Mediterranean cuisine while you are there.

July 3

Bars and Stripes
5 PM–midnight, Tuesday, July 3
Federal Hill (1113 S. Charles St.)
There will be drink and food specials, no covers, and free patriotic gear at some of your favorite Federal Hill staples including Ropewalk, Nobles, Pub Dog and more. Tickets can be purchased for at Mother’s parking lot from 5-10 PM that day or online for $5 in advance.

Red, White, and Brew Bash
7 PM–close, Tuesday, July 3
Howl at the Moon (22 Market Pl.)
With drink specials including $20 Wolf Berry sangria buckets, this party will have you singing along to the dueling pianos in no time. Reserve your free ticket here.

Star-Spangled Spectatular
8 PM, Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4
Oregon Ridge Park (13401 Beaver Dam Rd., Cockeysville)
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful music by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra choreographed to a beautiful firework display. Tickets can be purchased online until 4pm on July 3 for $18 adult and $9 children, then all must be purchased at the park for $20 adult and $10 children.

July 4

Visionary Pets on Parade
10 AM, Wednesday, July 4
American Visionary Arts Museum (800 Key Hwy.)
Dress your pet for a chance to win Best Costume, Most Patriotic, Owner and Pet Look-a-like contests and more. Spectators are encouraged to come watch both the pet parade and talent show for free.

Towson’s Fourth of July Parade
10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 4
Towson Center (Bosley and Burke Aves.)
In honor of the men and women who serve our country, head to Towson for a parade and collection of food vendors.

Inner Harbor Celebration and Fireworks
4–10 PM, Wednesday, July 4
Inner Harbor Amphitheater (Pratt & Light Sts.)
Mayor Cynthia Rawlings Blake will welcome guests and kick off the 9:30 PM fireworks show after performances at 4 PM by Mason Vixon and 7 PM by Electric Brigade. Fireworks can be seen from Fed Hill, Fells Point, and Harbor East so you do not need to crowd the harbor.

4th of July at Wit and Wisdom
5:30–9:30 PM, Wednesday, July 4
Wit and Wisdom (200 International Dr.)
With face painters and a delicious drink and food menu, this party is family -riendly and ends with a beautiful view of the fireworks from their patio. Tickets can be purchased here, $75 for adults, $20 for children.

DuClaw $1 Drafts for Independence Day
Open–close, Wednesday, July 4
All DuClaw Brewpubs (except the airport location)
Celebrate July 4 the way the Founding Fathers would have wanted — with great brew. All DuClaw locations will pour $1 drafts, all day long.

Independence Day Deck Party
7–10 PM, Wednesday, July 4
USS Constellation (Pier 1, 301 E. Pratt St.)
Enjoy some BBQ, beer, and wine while watching the fireworks on the water from the deck of Baltimore’s famous historic ship. Tickets are $65 for adults, $25 for children and can be purchased here.

Picnic at the Top!
7:30–10 PM, Wednesday, July 4
Top of the World Observation Level (401 E. Pratt St.)
Watch the fireworks from the best seat in the house with music, food, and lots of fun. Tickets are $75 for adults, $25 for children, to purchase call 410-837-VIEW.
