Where to Ring in 2018 in Baltimore

From hotels to Power Plant to the Inner Harbor, there is no shortage of enormous NYE celebrations around Baltimore. However, there are some cozier (and warmer - have you seen the forecast?) options throughout Charm City as well.

Aggio
Bryan Voltaggio’s downtown upscale Italian spot is offering a three-course $50 dinner with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Make a reservation on OpenTable or call 410-528-0200. (614 Water St, 410-528-0200)

Cazbar
Serving their regular menu, this Turkish restaurant has reservations for this 8 pm and 10 pm for dining and belly dance shows. (316 N Charles St, 410-528-1222)

Flavor (The Attic at Flavor)
Pop into this Mt. Vernon treasure for their City Chic: Black & White Party 2018 with complimentary appetizers from 9-10:30, a champagne toast at midnight, and DJ Kim Brannan spinning all night. $10 Cover. (15 E Centre St, 443-563-2279)

In Bloom

James Joyce
This Harbor East Irish pub will toast the Irish New Year at 7pm with a complimentary 7oz Irish beer before ringing in the New Year in Baltimore with music from Brendan Pelan 6:30 pm - 9:00pm and Clint Szafader 9:00pm - 1:30am and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Knotty Pine
This Brewer’s Hill corner bar will have a free appetizer buffet and complimentary champagne at midnight. They will also be enjoying the loose laws in Baltimore on NYE regarding closing time, slinging booze til 5 am. (801 S Conkling St, 410-534-9701)

Little Havana
LH is offering a full dinner buffet, an open bar, and live music for $95. Purchase tickets here. (1325 Key Hwy, 410-837-9903)

Maggie’s Farm
Dig in to a delicious NYE three course prix fixe dinner for $55 ($75 with pairing per person). (4341 Harford Rd, 410-254-2376)

Mahaffey’s
This Canton beer bar is offering three beers for $6 until 7pm, $4 pints of mimosas all day and a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight. While their regular menu is offered until 10, the real NYE miracle happens at midnight when the kitchen reopens, serving pancakes and sausage. On NYE, they stay open until you stop drinking. Mother’s Bar and Grille
It’s Mother’s 20 year anniversary and NYE, so there will be no shortage of celebration at Mother’s on December 31. Start earlier in the day for the NYE Purple Patio with bottomless bloodies, crushes, mimosas, and beer for $35 before the game alongside DJ Jbomb. Later there will be face painting, light shows, and a Champagne toast. From 8 - 10 pm enjoy complimentary MOM Bombs, $2 beers, and $1 shooters. (1113 S Charles St, 410-244-8686)

Owl Bar
Encouraging black tie and flapper attire, this prohibition era bar is hosting an NYE celebration that includes party favors, a photo booth, late night food, and live music. $20 cover charge. (1 E Chase St, 410-347-0888)

Points South Latin Kitchen
This Fells Point spot is hosting a NYE party and drag show. $100 per person include the drag Show and a buffer from 8pm-12am as well as an open bar (no shots) from 8pm-11pm. Pub Dog
Pop by this Fed Hill pub for all that you can eat and drink (and a midnight Champagne toast) from 9pm - 1:30am for $70. Call 410-727-6077 to reserve tickets. (20 E Cross St, 410-727-6077)

Rusty Scupper
Ring in 2018 on the water from 9 pm - 1 am with a four-course dinner and midnight champagne toast, DJ’d music, dancing, and one of the best views of the midnight fireworks from the rooftop deck. $120 for general seating. Reservations are required - call 410-727-3678. (402 Key Hwy, 410-727-3678)

RYE
This Thames Street tavern in Fells Point is offering two options for NYE, both at $60. The first, available from 6 pm - 10 pm, is the Rye Cocktail and Dim Sum Menu offers a flight of inspired potables from the bar and, from the kitchen, a flow of dumplings, buns & small plates from guest chef, Cyrus Keefer. Reservations are required. The second option, an open bar ticket titled Because It’s NYE, includes a welcome punch, a unique NYE cocktail menu, and a toast with bubbles at midnight. Suspended Brewing Company
This brand new brewery is opening its doors for the first time for a first pour NYE party. The $50 ticket price includes dinner from Ekiben, a beer toast at midnight, and a limited edition gift. Beer and cocktails will be on tap and wine will be available by the glass for purchase. (912 Washington Blvd)

The Bygone
Located on the 29th Floor of the Four Seasons, there is possibly no better venue to take in the New Year’s Eve fireworks. For the black tie celebration, The Bygone will have a standing buffet featuring a raw bar, a meat carving station, lobster, and caviar, alongside a limited all-night open bar with Champagne, red and white wine, beer, and house liquor (top shelf is available for purchase). Wicked Sisters
WS is featuring an open bar with draft beer, wine, call liquor, and some signature holiday drinks alongside a buffet with fan favorites and the chef's signature dishes. Tickets are $70. (3845 Falls Rd, 410-878-0884)

Wine Market Bistro
This popular bistro is featuring a three course prix fixe menu for $69 per person with an option $25 wine pairing. Those with later reservations may be able to enjoy the fireworks from the restaurant. (921 E Fort Ave, 410-244-6166)
