BaltiBrew's ChiliBrew Cook-Off & Fundraiser, April 22

BaltiBrew's ChiliBrew Cook-Off & Fundraiser, April 22

Chili and beer is a great combo, and it's even better when done with care and craftsmanship. To dig into some of the best home cooking and homebrewing around, save the date for this spring's Charitably Charmin' ChiliBrew. From 11 AM–5 PM on April 22, the Baltimore Free Farm will hold its "Localize It!" block party at 3510 Ash Street, and from noon–4 PM, the chili and beer will be flowing at BaltiBrew's fifth installment of the bi-annual fundraiser.

What if you are a brew afficionado or a chili maestro yourself? Anyone can submit a chili or home brew for consideration — check out the official rules here and register your chili or home brew here.

A sliding donation of $10-$20 is suggested at the door (go higher on the scale to score a commemorative glass), which brings unlimited bites and sips, plus the opportunity to act as judge and help crown the cook-off winners. Proceeds will benefit Baltimore Free Farm, the Bearings Bike Project, and the Baltimore Green Currency Association.

Email baltibrew@gmail.com with any questions.
