Union Craft Brewing Beer Dinner at Rockfish, March 20
UPDATE: The dinner has been postponed to March 20, due to weather.
Here’s a fun dinner worth the trip to Rockfish in Annapolis. Chef Chad Wells is preparing a five course meal that is a tribute to the classic TV dinner. Except instead of freezer-burned food and a cheap macrobrew, this meal will feature fun twists on American staples paired with craft beer from Baltimore's Union Craft Brewing.
For example, the Turkey Dinner Surprise is actually roasted quail with a Chesapeake oyster and andouille sausage stuffing. Then there’s the Mom’s Stuffed Meatloaf, which is made in this case with venison. It’s paired with Balt Altbier, which is also used in the sauce for the meat. Even dessert gets an upgrade — instead of tired apple pie, you get dried cherry and apple bread pudding, along with a Snowpants Oatmeal Stout.
Tickets are $75 for the Wednesday, March 20, dinner, which begins at 7 PM. Check out the full menu here. Space is limited, so call now to reserve your spot.
