This April, honor the maritime history of Fells Point and the patriotic privateer fleet and celebrate the pirate fantasy of sailing lore. The Ninth Annual Fells Point Privateer Festival goes down from April 19-21, with a weekend full of free family-friendly activities. The festival is located from Thames Street Park and Ann Street Pier to Broadway Square, Broadway Pier.

The festivities are broken into two parts. On Friday, the Pyrate’s Ball runs from 6–10 PM and features a $20 (in advance) all-you-can-drink Heavy Seas mug. On Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy a large craft and food market, interspersed with historical reenactments, flag demonstrations and live music. Also on Saturday, you can dress up and join the Pyrate Invasion Pub Crawl from 7 PM–1 AM. The $10 button unlocks great deals at all of the participating bars and pubs. This event is sponsored by Heavy Seas Beer and Sailor Jerry Rum — all participating bars will serve $4 Heavy Seas Beer and $5 Sailor Jerry mixed drinks.
