If you've never thought about tasting beers among lions, tigers and bears (oh my!) then this Memorial Day Weekend it's time to enlighten your multitasking senses. The Maryland Zoo is hosting Brew at the Zoo, a 50-plus craft and local beer tasting event highlighting brews from DuClaw, Brewers Art, Hop City, and many more. Live music will be playing throughout the event. On Saturday, May 25, look for the 8-Balls at 1 PM, Octavia Blues Band at 3 PM, and All Mighty Senators at 5 PM. On Sunday, May 26, musical stylings will be provided by Bad With Names at 1 PM, Barley Juice at 3 PM, and Kelly Bell Band at 5 PM.

A one day pass will run you $45 ($25 for designated driver or under 21), and includes a souvenir glass, unlimited access to the 50-plus brews and zoo admission for the day. VIP tickets are also available for $80, and will get you in an hour early, plus access to a shaded VIP tent, a larger glass, and lunch and dinner provided by Famous Dave’s BBQ.
