On Saturday, June 22, Heavy Seas is hosting the first-ever Burgers & Brews Festival at the Halethorpe brewery. The noon–4 PM event will showcase several of the best local burgers to pair with Heavy Seas draft brews. To add even more incentive than burgers and craft beers (as if you needed more), guests will also find a few specialty casks prepared just for the party, including Smokin' Hot Monkey (Powder Monkey Pale Ale with chipotle peppers, smoked paprika and Summit hops) and "Kosher" Cannon (Loose Cannon IPA with pickle spices, kosher salt, cucumbers and citric acid).

A $49 ticket gets you entrance into the event, Heavy Seas beer and a slider from each of the following contenders: Alexander’s Tavern; BGR The Burger Joint; C&R Pub; Frank & Nics West End Grille; Heavy Seas Alehouse; Luna Del Sea; The Manor Tavern and Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille. You can also fill up on Phil Flash’s rosemary fries and dessert, if you happen to find room. At the end of the day, place your vote and help choose the best slider in Baltimore.
