German Christmas Village Comes to Baltimore
The Inner Harbor's West Shore Park is the place to be for your holiday shopping this year with the addition of the authentic German Christmas Village. This indoor/outdoor holiday market is modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany. Complete with traditional German style wooden huts; a heated festival tent; food and drink such as gingerbread, bratwurst and mulled wine; and more than 40 vendor booths, the Christmas Village brings a new holiday tradition to Baltimore.
The opportunity to drink while you shop adds a whole new level of holiday cheer. Shoppers can enjoy red or white authentic mulled wine or imported German beer while they peruse the beautiful ornaments, hand crafted jewelry and more. Check the calendar of events for dates and times for folk dancing shows and holiday concerts as well.
Market hours are Sun.–Thurs., 11AM–7PM and Fri.–Sat., 11AM–8PM, from Nov. 28 – Dec. 23, 2013. The market will be open 11AM-5PM on Dec. 24, 2013. Visit www.baltimore-christmas.com for a schedule of events at Christmas Village this holiday season.
