Top Chef Alum Bryan Voltaggio Bringing His Aggio to Power Plant Live!
Looks like Power Plant Live! will get a huge upgrade to its eating and drinking offerings this spring when former Top Chef’testant Bryan Voltaggio opens a second location of his brand new DC-based Taggio restaurant at the Inner Harbor entertainment complex. The restaurant, which will take over the space currently occupied by Tatu Asian Grill, will be the celebrated chef’s first in Baltimore.
Voltaggio debuted the Taggio concept in DC last week. The veritable restaurant within a restaurant was retrofitted into the private dining space at his first DC effort, Range. Obviously, the Baltimore extension of Taggio will open as a standalone venture. Early intel has the restaurant shooting for a contemporary Italian and European vibe with daily a la carte offerings as well as regularly changing chef’s tasting menus. The drink situation is still a little vague, but expect to see an emphasis on wine.
While we wait for more details to trickle in, check out the trailer for DC’s Aggio below.
