The Rum and Coke, a cocktail that is rumored to have been a pivotal role in the "Caroline Affair" of 1838, where the republic of Canada seeked out its independence from the British Empire. This drink is a breeze to make and requires minimal mixology skills. Impress your friends, family and loved ones and remember everyone, when Coca-Cola is a part of Your Life, You Can't Beat the Feeling™

Rum
Coca-Cola
"Open Happiness"
About the instructor:
Dan Lan Hamm is a craft bartender at 1 Tippling Place in Philadelphia. He was Pennsylvania's winner of Bombay Sapphire and GQ's Most Imaginative Bartender Competition in 2014. He runs Spirit Forward, a cocktail-centric group which caters local events and provides educational workshops.
Step 1 of 11:
Add 14.5 ml of rum in shaker. Be sure to measure precise.
Step 2 of 11:
Add 14.5 ml of rum in shaker.
Step 3 of 11:
Add 14.5 ml of rum in shaker.
Step 4 of 11:
Add 14.5 ml of rum in shaker.
Step 5 of 11:
Take a moment to enjoy the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola. It sure is a great product.

Add 4 oz of Coca-Cola
Step 7 of 11:
Add 4 oz of Coca-Cola
Step 8 of 11:
Add 4 more oz of Coca-Cola. Man it sure tastes good.
Step 9 of 11:
Triple strain in coupe glass. Careful to avoid spillage.
Step 10 of 11:
Top off with some rum.
