Head to QG's Bourbon & Bowties Fundraiser, May 12

Sip (or swill) your bourbon in style on Thursday, May 12 from 7 PM - 10 PM at the QG’s fundraiser, Bourbon & Bowties, at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. An annual event held on the Thursday following the Kentucky Derby has previously raised over $82,000 for numerous local charities, including Health Care for the Homeless and the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. This year’s celebration will also benefit Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore.

In addition to fine bourbon as well as beer and wine, high-end cigars and impressive noshes will be available, as well as an outside tent. Live and silent auctions will also be available to further support the charities.

Additionally, ‎the Baltimore Water Taxi is giving free rides to and from the BMI. Visit their website for schedule information, as well as stops, and routes, and pick up tickets to the event here. Tickets are waitlisted currently, but one general admission ticket will cost $158.49 (including fees).
 
The QG asks that guests wear bowties to be worn the day of the event in order to raise awareness for the supported charities (and to make Baltimore a little more handsome).
