Check Out Playworks' Soirée For Play, November 3

Thursday is the new Friday, right? We were already buying into this (naturally), but Playworks, the nationwide organization with a Baltimore branch, is about to prove it with their beer-centric fundraiser on Thursday, November 3 at 6 PM.
The format for this year’s Soirée for Play, the annual FUNdraiser for the organization that utilizes the power of play to improve academic achievement and decrease bullying in schools, had us at “food trucks” and “local beer,” but we’re all in for the games, too.
Hosted by Union Craft Brewery and featuring raffles, dancing, and creative games, the event by Playworks aims to raise funds for their “life-changing programs” that will reach nearly 17,000 students in more than 30 schools locally this year.
Food trucks like Well Crafted Pizza will be on hand for provisions, while Union Craft will be pouring their well-known brews amidst a backdrop of local DJs and games.
Join the fun(draising) and don’t forget your festive cocktail attire. All proceeds from the event benefit Playworks. Tickets are only $50 and can be purchased here.
