Where to Watch the 2016 Election Results in Baltimore

by Jennifer Waldera on Nov 7, 2016 in Roundups

Those debates were just pre-gaming. Now it’s time to hunker down for the climax of this year’s election season. You could sit on your own couch chugging boxed wine as the results come in, but there are a few better options for drowning your election day sorrows.

The election season may not have been very classy, but redemption is possible. Get classy on election night and stop by one of the top Italian restaurants in Baltimore for a $35 three course dinner, live music, and 50% off all drinks and bottles of wine. (405 N Charles St.; 410-625-0534)

This Canton spot is suggesting that you pretend you live in Canada for the night, with beers from Unibroue Brewing Company. Featuring La Fin du Monde (a 9% Tripel) and Blanche de Chambly (a 5% Witbier), the smokehouse is also offering shot, drink, and food specials as well as raffles for Unibroue Swag at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. (3242 Foster Ave.; 410-522-1696)

The election results party at this Canton pizza place is offering $5 domestic drafts and 1/2 priced bottles of wine as well as some free appetizers at the bar. (641 S Montford Ave.; 410-522-1000)

Stop in to the newest iteration of RYE, now on Thames Street in the previous Leadbetter’s location, and sip away your election sorrows with cocktail specials all night. (1639 Thames St.; 443-438-3455)

Show your "I Voted" sticker here and receive your first pint of year round beer for only $1.18. (1300 Bank St.; 410-522-0850)

Discounted drinks go out to anyone with an “I Voted” sticker on 11/8, but it’s also Taco Tuesday. Grab the Trump themed Old El Paso style taco with ground beef, cheddar, tomato and lettuce in a hard shell or Clinton’s in a soft tortilla with Spam, pineapple and Thousand Island dressing. (3650 Toone St.; 443-869-6874)

This Towson spot is offering a punny special drink all evening named 'Live Free or Chai,' made with rye, Irish whiskey, Chai Tea Syrup, Cardamaro, Citrus and Bitters. (1 Olympic Pl.; 410-339-7730)

This new-ish cute corner spot is offering $5 Vote-tinis for those sporting “I Voted” stickers and $8 all American beef burgers during the 4-7 PM happy hour. (311 W Madison St.; 443-938-9109)

Get some meatballs while you’re celebrating Election Day, and then grab their Boh draft special for $3 and “I’m with her” Cosmopolitans for $6 while watching the returns with sound on. (814 S Broadway; 443-759-5315)

Both of these spots will be offering all night happy hour for those who want to drown away the election at a reasonable cost. (1606 Thames St)

Wear your “I Voted” sticker and get 10% off your check for the night. (1226 S Clinton St.; 410-342-9105)

At their Louie Bar, this Mt. Vernon spot will be toasting the new POTUS with food and drink specials all night. (518 N Charles St.; 443-869-3382)

Wear your “I Voted” sticker and get $2 off drinks from 8 - 10 PM. (1001 N Charles St.; 410-752-7133)

Get brews from DC BRAU on happy hour special from 4 -11 PM while watching the returns. The brewery recommends sipping on their beer “Corruption,” but there will be a few others on tap as well. (1542 Light St.; 443-708-8854)

The party, with live music, has a $7 cover charge, but if you come dressed as Melania Trump, it’s free. Costume prizes and games will ensue. (1910 N Charles St.; 410-625-4848)
