Hersh's is Offering a New Series of Cocktail Classes on Mondays

If your New Year’s Resolution was to learn more about drinks, Hersh’s is the place to be on Monday nights through May.
The Light Street spot, best known for its crispy-crusted wood-fired pizzas, also shakes and stirs some fine cocktails. For the first part of 2017 (January through May), bar boss Ali Dryer, occasionally joined by notable local brewers, distillers, and winemakers, is ready to teach about topics ranging from stocking your home bar to tropical cocktails to creating hot and boozy beverages.
Pop in on Monday nights at 6:30 to learn about the week’s chosen libation, and enjoy a $5 drink on special all night.
For the remainder of February, the schedule includes Manhattans (and riffs) on February 20, and a day-early shout out to Mardi Gras on February 27 with a New Orleans Cocktails theme.
