Where to Celebrate World Gin Day in Baltimore
Autumn in the mid-Atlantic may seem to be an untimely season to explore gin cocktails. However, November 7 is World Gin Day - and a perfect opportunity to explore some of the city’s best beverages created with the clear spirit.

While you can’t sidle up to spend an entire evening sipping cocktails in BWC’s tasting room, you can slip in to get their Shot Tower Gin to stir this cocktail at home.

1.5 oz Shot Tower Gin
1.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
.25 oz Meletti Amaro
1 dash of orange bitters
Combine all ingredients in cocktail stirring glass. Add ice, stir. Strain onto one large ice cube and garnish with orange peel.

Newly opened on November 4, the LB Speakeasy is serving this Rickey, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s preferred cocktail. Initially served with a Bourbon base, it was switched to gin during Prohibition to avoid the lengthy aging process that whiskey requires.
