Whether you’re looking for a night to celebrate your love or you’re seeking to swill away the holiday, an abundance of options are available for celebrating Valentine’s Day in Charm City. We’ve chosen a few from the many that will satisfy either motive. Opting to Netflix and chill? We have some food and drink ideas for that, too. In between all of the Netflix and “chilling,” of course. Whatever you choose to do with your partner (or not), may the Valentine’s Day odds be ever in your favor.
This rooftop restaurant in Eager Park is extending its Valentine’s Day celebration with its “10 Days of Cupid” menu from February 9th through February 19th. The menu from the new restaurant features a three course dinner for two for $99 (or add a bottle of wine for $129). (800 N Wolfe St)
Chef Scott Hines composed a creative four course menu for the holiday ($75/pp) while Lead Bartender Brendan Dorr and his team will be shaking and stirring unique cocktails and serving selected wines to accompany the prix-fixe meal. (2 N Charles St, 443-692-6172)
On February 14 from 6:30 - 9:30, Chef’s Expressions will be hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner to benefit the non-profit organization
TasteWise Kids. The event, featuring butlered hors d’oeuvres, a seated dinner, a table of treats, and paired wines with each course costs $120. Tickets can be purchased
here.

The French Kitchen will be featuring a menu of three courses with decadent dishes like foie gras and crab fondue. For those looking to make an entire night of it, the hotel’s Romance Package starts at $179 and includes overnight accommodations for two, complimentary valet parking, Champagne for two, and a $50 restaurant credit to be used during the stay at any of the hotel’s food and beverage spots. (20 W Baltimore St, 410-539-8400)
This midtown club will be featuring happy hour prices all night alongside its Valentine’s event Trivia & Drag Hosted by Venus. Trivia is free to play with the possibility of winning a $25 bar tab. (1001 N Charles St, 410-752-7133)
Royal Sonesta Harbor Court
On February 9, 10, and 14, this downtown hotel overlooking the Inner Harbor will offer a three course menu for $65/pp. The crab cakes and steak look appealing, but we’re really interested in those liqueur infused chocolate covered strawberries for dessert.
(550 Light St, 410-234-0550)
Pratt Street Ale House
Pratt Street Ale House will have a special menu with a featured cocktail, entree, and dessert running from February 9 through February 14. We have our eyes on that cocktail, though. Called The Champagne One, it combines Champagne and rum and is garnished with a cinnamon and brown sugar rim.
(206 W Pratt St, 410-244-8900)
Chef Orlando Amaro has created a unique four course dinner menu with innovative dishes like roasted beet and coconut milk soup and tonnarelli pasta with sea urchin. The prix-fixe menu is $85/person (or $115 with wine pairings). (924 N Charles St, 443-447-7878)
The Owl Bar’s Cupid Rhymes with Stupid Anti-Valentine’s Day Party is the place to be if this Valentine’s Day is more about expressing your undying love for libations. Order food from the “Love Bites” menu or just swill some Anti-Love Potion Cocktails. Bring a photo of your ex and garner a free shot. (1 E Chase St, 410-347-0888)
The Windup Space
With drink specials and live music by local artists, Junkluck #3: Valentine’s Edition at the Windup Space is the place to celebrate being solo. The word salad style name of the event - Junkluck - means it’s a junkfood potluck, so don’t forget to bring some bites to share.

Prefer to celebrate your love (or lust) in private? Plan ahead and order authentic Maryland crab cakes from
Colossal Blue and pair them with a local wine like
Boordy’s Rockfish (a crisp blend of seyval, chardonnay, and vidal), or a local brew like
Old Oriole Park Beer. If you’re looking for sweets to finish the meal, we’re fairly certain your valentine wouldn’t balk at the idea of some truffles infused with Heavy Seas beer, from
Parfections, for dessert.
