Where to Celebrate Mardi Gras 2018 in Baltimore

There may be no better way to ruin your Valentine’s Day than by celebrating Mardi Gras the day before. Or, there may be no better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than to just continue your Mardi Gras celebration. Either way, we’ve been gifted with a week full of opportunities to celebrate, so? Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Celebrate Fat Tuesday at this Belgian Beer Hall to the backdrop of the movie Easy Rider about a 1969 road trip to New Orleans. In addition to the regular large selection of Belgian brews, DKD will be serving Belgian Hurricanes alongside King Cake. (3602 Hickory Ave)

Starting at 7 pm, Fish Head Cantina will be hosting its Mardi Gras party with $4 Captain Morgan Hurricanes and $5 Crown Royal shots in addition to beads, masks, and trivia. (4802 Benson Ave, 410-247-2474)

All three of Mother’s locations will be celebrating Fat Tuesday with a New Orleans inspired menu, Hurricanes, Abita specials, beads, and free gumbo. (1113 S Charles St, 410-244-8686)

The Marketplace is getting in on Mardi Gras all around. Stop in for a crawfish boil at The Local Oyster, Hurricanes and Sazeracs at Cultured, gumbo and jambalaya (with vegan versions available) at Big Bean Theory, King Cake and beignets at Edible Favors by Denise, an Abita Brewing Company tap takeover with 13 drafts at Taps Fill Station, and live music by Rufus Roundtree starting at 8 pm. (520 Park Ave, 443-796-7393)

Paulie Gee's back bar will be hosting a Mardi Gras celebration with multiple interpretations of the classic Sazerac alongside andouille sausage pizza and to the backdrop of live Dixieland music by Sac au Lait. (3535 Chestnut Ave, 410-889-1048)

The Brass Tap’s Mardi Gras celebration features an abundance of brews from Abita as well as giveaways and prizes. (1205 W Mt Royal Ave, 888-901-2337)

For a $5 cover, pop into the Windup Space for drinks as well as tunes from The Charm City Brass Band. (12 W North Ave, 410-244-8855)
