SpikedSeltzer is Debuting New Flavors in Baltimore, Just in Time for Spring & Summer

Though the forecast may not reflect it, spring starts this week. With St. Patrick’s Day behind us, some of us are ready to put down the likes of sturdy stouts and start seeking out springtime sips. Just in time for the seasonal drink transition, SpikedSeltzer is rolling out a new flavor due to be stocked in stores in Baltimore in the coming months.
 
Charm City is no stranger to citrusy spring and summer drinks (see: Orange Crush and all its variations). Given that, SpikedSeltzer’s new Ventura Lemon, a gluten-free seltzer with only five grams of carbohydrates and 6% ABV, has the potential to be a popular new kid on the block.
 
Launched in 2013, SpikedSeltzer, is made from a combination of purified water, cold-pressed fruits, and alcohol generated by a cold-fermentation of sugar. The result is a crisp, bubbly seltzer with a light fruit flavor devoid of the cloying sweetness of some similar products.
 
In addition to the upcoming Ventura Lemon, SpikedSeltzer also produces Prickly Pear, Indian River Grapefruit, West Indies Lime, Cape Cod Cranberry, and Valencia Orange. Sold in packages of six, the hard seltzers can be sipped solo, or be combined to create cocktails.
