Where to Drink on Memorial Day 2018 in Baltimore

Sure, we’d all love to be on the shore on the weekend of summer’s unofficial start. However, staying in town means taking advantage of a whole host of holiday weekend happenings, as well as open seats at Baltimore bars that can be otherwise hard to find. The list of libation-based events for the entire long weekend leans toward lengthy so we’re sticking to the spots to spend your Monday off on Memorial Day.

This South Baltimore seafood spot is serving up a Maryland crab feast brunch on Memorial Day. From 11 am - 2:30 pm get all-you-can-eat crabs along with elevated feast sides like Napa slaw, roast corn with lime crema, frites with smoked red pepper aioli, and red beans with ham hocks for $39 per person. Minnow will also kick off their brunch celebrating the unofficial start to summer with boozy snowballs, $2 RAR Country Ride Pale Ales, and $12 bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas. (2 E Wells St Suite 116; 443-759-6537)

Monday brunch is how Mother’s will commemorate Memorial Day. Stop in from 9 am - 2 pm for the brunch menu and spend just twenty bucks to sip some bottomless Bloody Marys, mimosas, and Miller Lite draft. (1113 S Charles St; 410-244-8686)

This waterfront corner bar in Fells is hosting a Red, White, and Boozed event on Memorial Day. With bottomless booze for $15 from 11 am-2 pm including mimosas, sangria, screwdrivers, Bloody Marys, and Natty Boh, they’ll also be serving a brunch menu from 11 am-3:30 pm and $6 Bomb Pop Crushes all day. (1738 Thames St; 410-327-7264)

The O’s are in town on Memorial Day, so why not sip some suds while watching America’s favorite pastime? The game against the Nationals starts at 1:05 and the stadium is offering up Memorial Day O’s shirts. (333 W Camden St)

This Federal Hill neighborhood bar is hosting a Red, Hot Amurica Brunch with specials on drinks as well some all-you-can-drink deals. (1400 Light St; 443-438-7289)

Spend some of Memorial Day on a Spirit Cruise sightseeing and sipping on the Inner Harbor. Hour-long cruises are available for $20.95 at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30 with snacks and drinks available for an extra charge on board. At 6:30, the ship boards for a two and a half hour dinner cruise including an upscale buffet, all for $69.90. On board, add cocktails, wine, and beer to sip as you watch the sun set. (561 Light St; 410-347-5552)
