Pumpkin Wine is Coming, Just in Time for Autumn
It's only mid-summer, but if you're already ready for fall, you can get started now with a bottle of pumpkin wine, according to Elite Daily.
Wisconsin's Three Lakes Winery is producing a pumpkin wine, which is now sold year round and is made with pie pumpkins in the style of a traditional Chardonnay. The winery, which focuses on different fruit-based varietals (including blueberry, raspberry, rhubarb, strawberry, plum, and more), also makes a cranberry wine, so if you're looking for the full Thanksgiving experience from your wine, be sure to grab a bottle of that as well.
As the second oldest winery in Wisconsin, Three Lakes has been producing its cranberry wine since 1972, and offers tastings and tours at their winery if you find yourself in the area. As far as their fruit wines, they pride themselves on their process — instead of simply adding fruit juices, they ferment using the entire fruit itself.
Though there are some states that the winery isn't able to ship to, including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah and Vermont, you can order the wine for $12.95 per bottle directly from the winery, in case you're already craving pumpkin spice this summer.
