On October 20, Drink Baltimore invaded and took over the second floor of prodigious beer bar Alewife on Eutaw Street for our launch party. If you didn’t make it over, you missed brews from Victory Brewing Company (as well several free ones from awesome regional rep Pete Scheider) and free t-shirts proclaiming your love for real beer. $1 from each Victory brew sold was donated to Velocipede Bike Project, who also came by to wish us well.

We also gave out prizes via hourly raffles, including a Han Solo in carbonite ice tray, a home beer-making kit, BeerGivr gift certificates and more. Eats from chef Chad Wells were available to pair with the drinks throughout the Thursday evening (we got down with the available-via-tweet-only “Evil Twin,” a crab-stuffed burger of smoked beef topped with cheese and bacon).
