Beer and Bacon Happy Hour XXIII "Tidings of Bacon and Joy"

What: Special bacon beer and bacon holiday food, all night long
Where: Bad Decisions (1928 Fleet St.)

DuClaw has brewed a special, one-of-a-kind firkin of bacon porter (using a whole pound of pork belly), which will be tapped to go with eats like bacon and sage Yorkshire pudding, bacon-wrapped brie, bacon-fried sweet potatoes and more.

Champagne vs. Sparkling Wine Tasting

What: A tasting led by sommelier Christopher Clune
Where: Sotto Sopra (405 N. Charles St.)
When: 6 PM, Friday, December
Price: $30

Secret Santa Sip ‘n’ Crawl

What: Holiday bar crawl and fundraiser
Where: Power Plant Live (34 Market Pl.)
When: 7–10 PM, Friday, December 16
Price: PAYG

Bring an unwrapped toy or make a $5 donation and receive a wristband good for no-cover-access and $2 Miller Lites at 10 different venues at Power Plant Live. Also enter to win tickets to New Year's Eve or concerts, gift cards, VIP tables and more.


Saturday, December 17

Baltimore Free Farm Fundraising Dinner

What: Fundraising dinner with homebrewed beer
Where: St. John’s Church (2640 St. Paul St.)
When: 5–9 PM, Saturday, December 17
Price: Sliding scale, $25–$50

It’s the third year of existence for this farm collective, and they’re celebrating with a dinner and music fundraiser. Enjoy local food, homebrewed cider and IPAs and live classical music. There will also be an awards ceremony honoring individuals who've made a difference in the green movement in Baltimore City. Buy your ticket/make your donation via PayPal here.

Let It Snow Celebration at Harbor East

What: A snowy fest throughout the neighborhood, with several discounts at area bars
Where: Harbor East
When: Noon–5 PM, Sunday December 18
Price: PAYG

The entire neighborhood will be blanketed with holiday cheer, including ice carvings, music and snow-making machines! As you stroll, take advantage of several holiday discounts being offered restaurants around Harbor East and in Power Plant Live (check them all out here).
