Brew-lovers, start your engines... or at least, get them lubed up and ready to start rumbling. Tickets are now on sale for the 16th annual edition of the City Paper Brewfest in Broadway Square, going down from 1–5 PM on Saturday, April 14, and this year’s party is going to be better than ever.

Why better? First, the organizers have nearly doubled the footprint of the event, which will spill over from the square through a closed-down Lancaster Street and into the parking lot in front of the Broadway Market. Second, the number of tickets being sold is being capped at a relatively low number, so you can put to rest those fears of interminable lines and over-crowding.

The 80-keg-strong beer list will represent breweries from around the country (and the world), and for your entry fee you’ll be treated to an unlimited number of 3-oz. pours of beers of all shapes and kinds. Music will be playing at both ends of the festival, with DJ Batman on one side and DJ Landis Expandis (with free karaoke) on the other.

If you act quickly, you can score your ticket for just $30. After March 14, the price goes up to $35, until the event sells out (it does every year). What are you waiting for?
