Half-Price Wines for "Eclectic Wine Month" at The Wine Market
We recently mentioned that Fort Avenue’s Wine Market is getting down with cocktails, including holding a local spirits tasting on March 13, but they also have a continually strong wine game, as their name would suggest.
Because they want to spread the vinous love as broadly as possible, The Wine Market has declared March “Eclectic Wine Month” and throughout the month a selection of lesser known wines will be offered by the glass at half price.
Ever wanted to try a Gewürztraminer? Curious about Zweigelts? What are the characteristics of a Cinsault, a Tannat or a Sylvaner? Now’s your chance to suck in knowledge without sucking up a high price tag. The list of unusual varieties on sale will change as wine director Lucien Walsh presents some of his favorites from his month-long research for the discounted drinks project. Which vintage will win you over? Be sure to let us know.
