Foursquare Day at Bad Decisions, April 16
There’s a big holiday coming up very soon, and celebrations will be held all across the country to celebrate. No, we don’t mean Easter. Not Passover. Not even Memorial Day (that’s way off in the distance). We’re talking something a bit more modern.
Monday, April 16 is Foursquare Day (4/16 = 4/42, get it?), and a special 4sqDay bash is taking place at Fells Point gathering spot Bad Decisions. John Reusing’s drinkery was one of the first in the entire state to offer check-in specials for Foursquare users, so it’s a fitting place to toast the location-based social service.
From 6:30–9:30 PM, stop in at 1928 Fleet Street and check in for new drink discounts and a special cocktail called The Square Root (no one’s telling what’s in it, yet). Be sure to bring a can of food, too, as the bar will be collecting goods for the Maryland Food Bank during the event. You can check out more details (and RSVP if you wish) on Meetup here.
Side note: don’t forget to head back to Bad Decisions two days later for the April edition of the Bacon and Beer Happy Hour — the 27th installment of this porcine party will be held in remembrance of the Bay of Pigs invasion, during which nuclear war was narrowly avoided in 1961.
