BB&T Presents Brew at the Zoo, May 26-27
If you've never thought about tasting beers among lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!) then this Memorial Day weekend it's time to enlighten your multi-tasking senses. The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is hosting Brew at the Zoo, a 50+ craft and local beer tasting event highlighting brews from DuClaw, Flying Dog, Blue Moon, and many more. For a full listing of vendors check out the event page.
Live music will also be playing throughout the event. On Saturday look for Dagmar and the Seductones at 1 PM, Flow in the Dark at 3 PM, and Old Man Brown at 5 PM. And on Sunday musical stylings will be provided by The 8-Balls at 1 PM, Jah Works at 3 PM, and Kelly Bell Band at 5 PM.
A one day pass will run you $45, or $25 if you are under 21 or the designated driver. Price of admission gets you a glass, unlimited access to the 50-plus tastings, and zoo admission for the day. VIP tickets are also available for $80, or $65 if you are under 21 or the designated driver. These exclusive tickets get you into the tasting event one hour early, access to a shaded VIP tent, a larger glass, and lunch and dinner provided by Famous Dave’s BBQ. All types of tickets can be purchased here.
