Labor Day Treat: Watermelon Beer Popsicles
All across America, folks are preparing to soak up the unofficial last day of summer with barbecues and brews. This year, add some pop to your party with a unique dessert that’s both tasty and buzz-worthy: watermelon beer popsicles. CraftBeer.com created an easy-to-follow recipe that uses cans of 21st Amendent Hell or High Watermelon, along with mint, lime, agave syrup and chunks of fresh watermelon. You’ll also need a Dixie Cups, popsicle sticks, a stovetop and a food processor or blender.
After all, what better way to make use of your stock of beach-friendly wheat beers? Autumn is just around the corner, and you’ll need that suds-cellar space for a raft of Oktoberfest märzens and spicy pumpkin ales. And for now, days are still warm enough that a sweet frozen treat will be welcome respite (especially when it comes with an ABV rating).
Head over to CraftBeer.com for step-by-step instructions. Enjoy your holiday, and if you make them, be sure to let us know how they turn out!
