First Annual Charm City Burger Wars at Mother's Grille, Sept 22
Don’t sweat the end of summer, fall has great things to look forward to. Prime example: the first-ever of what we’re sure will be a successful annual event — the Charm City Burger Wars. Mother’s Grille is hosting this burger-off on Saturday, September 22, which will see more than a dozen patty professionals go head to head at the Fed Hill tavern. Who decides the winner? You do!
Tickets to the 1–6 PM event run just $15 per person (available here), which brings samples of all the burgers in contention. Plenty of good pay-as-you-go beer and cocktails will be available to help cleanse your palate as you taste your way through the multpile meat sandwiches. Competitors include No Idea Tavern, Alonso's, Kooper's Chow Wagon, Alewife, Rowhouse Grille, Abbey Burger Bistro, Brewer's Cask, Ropewalk and Alexander's Tavern, with more expected to join. Which burger will reign supreme? Only one way to find out.
