This year marks the sixth anniversary of Ryleigh’s Oyster Bar’s popular OysterFest. Check out the series of events taking place October 4–7, a weekend full of fun that is sure to bring out a great crowd. A portion of proceeds from all of the events goes to the Chesapeake Bay Foundtaion and the Oyster Recovery Partnership, so come out and drink and eat for a good cause.

Thursday, October 4
The Oyster Ball
The Oyster Ball is a VIP event held at Ryleigh's Oyster Bar from 7–10 PM on Thursday, with a top shelf open bar, fresh seafood, and unlimited raw oysters. Tickets can be purchased here for $65 per person.

Saturday, October 6
Block Party
The free block party runs from noon–11 PM on Cross Street in Federal Hill and features a musical performance by Jenny Leigh Freeman from 1 PM-4 PM and the Grilled Lincolns at 7 PM. There will be games, crafts, food, $1 oysters and drink specials.

Stop by at 5 PM to catch the second annual Baltimore Oyster Shucking Championship where the viewers reap the benefits of trays of shucked oysters. There is a $10 suggested donation for this portion of the event.

Sunday, October 7
Surf and Turf Feast
If you have room for any more oysters, drop by the Surf and Turf Feast on Cross Street on Sunday (the event is commonly touted as Baltimore’s Biggest Bull and Oyster Roast). Flying Dog drafts will be available off the truck, along with pit beef sandwiches and of course, $1 oysters. The roast begins at noon and features cover band Hot Tub Limo after the Ravens game.
