This year marks the 46th year for the Fells Point Fun Festival, hosted by the Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill and Fell's Point. The festival was originally started as a fundraiser to raise awareness about Fell’s Point, in order to save it from demolition, and has since turned into one of the most beloved and anticipated festivals of the fall season.

There will be craft vendors for all ages, an international bazaar, Arts on Parade, a hub of non-profits known as the Giving Place, an eclectic flea market, carnival rides and five stages with live entertainment. Also spread throughout the massive festival are 40-plus food vendors in four food courts and — happily — a beer tent for those who wish to imbibe.

The party takes over Fell's Point from 11 AM–7 PM on both Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7. A festival map for this colossal affair and information about volunteer opportunities can be found on the Preservation Society’s website.
