There’s been an explosion of great craft beer choices at Baltimore bars recently, and while it’s a blessing for lovers of real beer, it can also be somewhat intimidating, or at least hard to choose. That’s where the folks behind the bar come in — we’ve got dozens of expert brew fanatics pouring for us in this city.

At Baltimore Beer Week Opening Tap on October 19, one talented beer slinger will be named Baltimore’s Best BEERtender, and will have the honor of being the tapmaster to kick off the entire event by tapping the ceremonial first firkin.
