Boordy Vineyards Sunday Soups in the Cellar
Soups in the Cellar is exactly as amazing as it sounds: an afternoon of unlimited homemade soups from Clementine Restaurant and six tastings of delicious wines from 67-year-old Boordy Vineyards in Hyde, MD. This perfectly paired fall event takes place every Sunday from 1–5 PM throughout November and should be seriously considered as an option on your Sunday funday list.
In addition to the soup and wine options, the $15 price of admission brings live music, a wine glass, a winery tour and a fire to toast marshmallows at at the end of the night. Only a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the gate on the day of the event, so buy your tickets in advance here.
Boordy wines are made from Maryland-grown grapes and are hand crafted to bring the best of the state to your glass. Try wines from any one of three different lineups: the 100% Maryland grape Landmark series; the Icons of Maryland series, crafted with food in mind; and the Just for Fun series, which features easy-to-drink sweet party wines.
Clementine Restaurant in Hamilton is committed to making delicious soups from the best local meats and produce. Don't miss the delicious sweet potato bisque with maple and chipotle, Uncle Elmore's Maryland crab soup or the black lentil and pork soup with smoked paprika and Madeira.
