Union Craft Brewing Snow Pants Release Party at Max's Taphouse, January 17

Despite the fact that temps have hardly dropped below freezing at all this winter, it’s Snow Pants season. On Thursday, local beer maker Union Craft Brewing will launch its newest seasonal offering at a release part at Max’s Taphouse on Thursday, January 17.
Snow Pants Oatmeal Stout is a jet black, full-bodied ale witih an ABV of 8%. Brewers describe the beer as having a “gentle, creamy body,” thanks to real oats. The sweetness is balanced by both Cascade and Columbus hops. The keg and three firkins will be pouring the brew starting at 5 PM, so head to Fells Point to be one of the first to try it. Padded down outerwear optional.
