Baltimore Bars with Outdoor Seating

When the weather is warm, there’s nothing better than sipping a brew, cocktail or glass of wine outside – it just makes the world seem right. Here’s a guide to spots around town where you can accomplish just that! (Note: We'll be continually updating this list throughout the season; if you have a suggestion, please leave it in the comments!)

Canton

Bay Cafe: With palm trees and sand this outdoor bar gives the ambiance of being at the beach

Bo Brooks Restaurant: Canton’s location helped revitalize the neighborhood in 2000 and has a happy hour every day of the week

Canton Dockside: A favorite spot for crabs right along the water in Canton

Downtown

Joe Squared: Located in Power Plant Live, drink a free pint of beer outdoors with the purchase of a pizza on Sundays

Leinenkugel’s Beer Garden: With over 30 craft drafts and its convenient location right in Power Plant Live, Leinenkugel’s has quickly become a hot spot

Pickles: Battle the crowd during an Orioles home game and stand outside with a beer

Pratt Street Ale House: This Ale House serves Oliver’s beers on tap and has extensive seating within walking distance to the harbor and Camden Yards

Sliders: Another Orioles fan hangout, there is ample outdoor standing room

Federal Hill/South Baltimore

C&R Pub: Find out the difference between a cowboy and a redneck at this bar with an indoor/outdoor balcony

Little Havana: The mojito at this casual Cuban-inspired restaurant is a refreshing outdoor treat

Mezze: A popular Federal Hill Mediterranean spot that serves tapas-style dishes

Mother's: The Purple Patio celebrates all things Ravens in the bar’s parking lot

Mr. Rain’s Funhouse: The outdoor balcony is mostly for eating but you can sit and enjoy a drink and the eclectic decor when it’s not busy

Ryleigh’s Oyster Bar: There is an indoor/outdoor balcony at this Fed Hill staple by Cross Street Market

The Tiki Barge: A pretty self explanatory tiki bar and pool on a barge in the Inner Harbor

Fells Point

Bertha’s: This Fells Point spot one of the more popular places in the city to eat mussels

Kooper’s Tavern: This tavern’s beer list is expansive and somehow even more delicious outdoors

One Eyed Mike's: Walk past the endless bottle of Gran Marnier to get to the cozy back patio

The Point in Fells: Listen to live entertainment and enjoy a specialty cocktail at this casual yet upscale restaurant

Slainte: A great place to watch the game and soccer, in particular

Thames Street Oyster House: Serving traditional seafood dishes from Maryland, the Mid-Atlantic, and New England

Waterfront Kitchen: Aptly named and located right between Harbor East and Fells Point, Waterfront is a great place to have a bite or a drink with a view

Woody's Rum Bar: This popular bar overlooking the harbor lives up to its reputation as Best Bar to get Day Drunk

Highlandtown

The Laughing Pint: “The nicest little bar in Baltimore” gets a little bigger when the weather gets warm and its outdoor lounge opens up

Inner Harbor
