Events for Everyone

Baltimore’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular
9 PM–midnight; Free
Inner Harbor (Pratt St. and Light St.; 410-752-8632)
With music starting at 9 PM, join in a 30-year tradition at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Fireworks go off at the stroke of midnight and can be seen from many of the nearby neighborhoods as well.

Events for Craft Beer Lovers

New Year’s Eve at the Alehouse
5–11 PM; $48
Heavy Seas Alehouse (1300 Bank St.; 410-522-0850)
Enjoy a three course meal featuring the best of the Heavy Seas Alehouse menu and specials cooked up just for the occasion. Beer and wine pairings are available for an additional fee. Call for reservations.

Events for Danceaholics

Baltimore’s NYE Live!
9 PM–1 AM; $95
Power Plant Live! (34 Market Pl.; 410-727-5483)
Ring in the New Year with DJs spinning live on stage and get a great view of the Times Square ball drop as it's broadcast on two 20-foot LED screens. Tickets can be purchased here.

Big Night Baltimore
9 PM–2 AM; $105 general admission; $180 VIP  (prices will increase as date approaches)
The Sheraton Baltimore City Center (101 W Fayette St.; 410-752-1100)
Presented by 106.5, this massive party has nine themed areas, open bars and food buffets all night. Tickets are available here.

Downtown Countdown
9 PM-–2 AM; $109 general admission, $154 VIP (prices increase as date approaches
Hyatt Regency Hotel (300 Light St.; 410-528-1234)
Enjoy five large party areas, multiple bars, buffet tables, DJs and comedy acts at this formal gathering. Tickets are available here or at co-sponsor Mother’s Federal Hill Grill.

New Year’s Eve Lounge Party at Wit & Wisdom
9 PM–2 AM; PAYG
Wit & Wisdom (200 International Dr.; 410-576-5800)
Celebrate in the lounge with great views of the fireworks, live DJ entertainment and no cover charge. Call for reservations.

Events for Mixology Fans

The Last Stop
5PM–close; PAYG
B&O Brasserie (2 North Charles St.; 443-692-6172)
Special cocktail and beer pairings from Brendan Dorr will be available to go with á la carte menus. A guest DJ will start at 9 PM, and a Champagne toast will take place at midnight. Reservations are recommended.

New Year’s Eve Dinner at Wit & Wisdom
Seating begins 5–6:30 PM; $80
Wit & Wisdom (200 International Dr.; 410-576-5800)
Jump start the evening with an early dinner of chef Clay Miller’s three-course prix fixe menu.

PABU NYE
7 PM–1 AM ; $65
PABU (725 Aliceanna St.; 410-223-1460)
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat evening featuring food from various regions of Japan, including sushi, robata, soba noodles, grilled mochi and osechi. Events for Wine Lovers

New Year’s Eve 2012
5–7 PM or 8–10 PM; $69 with $35 optional wine pairing

A four-course meal will feature special dishes and carefully selected wine pairings; the later seating includes a complimentary Champagne toast. Call for reservations.

New Year’s Eve Dinner 2012
$59 with $25 optional wine pairing

Tickets include four courses that range from wild mushroom soup to pumpkin creme brulée. Call for reservations.

New Year’s Eve 2012 Festivities…and Fireworks
6:30 PM seating: $115 or $165 with wine pairing and 9:30 PM seating: $150 or $200 with wine pairing

New Year’s Eve with Petit Louis Bistro
$72 or $109 with wine pairing
